Trouble launching MC 25

I recently installed MC 25 and I am having a problem launching it. On the day of the upgrade from MC 24, everything went smoothly and MC 25 launched per normal. Since then, I cannot launch it from my task bar or from the Applications list in Finder. The only way I can launch it is by restarting my Mac Mini. Then it launches, without me doing anything, even though "open at Launch" is disabled.

Any ideas?
