Just purchased JRemote2, it's fast and fixed some issues of JRemote. However, there may be another bug - the information (circle i) of Play View doesn't working.

Yes, the metadata information button hasn't been implemented yet. It's on the to-do list.

Can you even install Android apps from the Play Store on the Walkman? If you can, I'd recommend JRemote2 if you're wanting to play media from a server running MC to the Walkman running JRemote2.

Yep, the Sony NW-ZX2 is unique among Walkman models in that it uses an Android operating system that allows full access to the Play Store.

On the server side, can I use an IdPi to stream music from an NAS to the Walkman using Remote2? Or do I need the regular Id to do this?

Native only works with a handful of formats right now; FLAC, MP3 and AAC (gapless playback works with those too). Not sure if DSD native would be possible though, it would likely depend if ExoPlayer2 has native support for DSD or not. From a quick search, it doesn't look like it does.

Been using for a few hours...One thing I noticed, it plays all my playlists except one....my favourite that has 10,000+ songs in it....all the other shorter ones work... BTW, Gizmo has no trouble with the long list...

yep, The same at me, no playing long lists they are larger than 10.000 Tracks!

There is an official feedback thread for JRemote2 now here: https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,123223.0.html
Please direct all feedback there, so that we can collect it in a central place. I'm closing this one down. :)
