25.0.115 - ‘something went wrong with playback’
(1/1)
David593:
Just upgraded to 115 and video files at least won’t play. Error message produced every time I press play on a file ‘something went wrong with playback’ I have gone back to 108 which works. MacBook Pro 15 inch late 2013, dual graphics.
Long time user so turned off and on etc. OS is Mojave 10.14.6.

Had the same Issue with 25.0.114 Mini MAC Core I7 16 GB Ram, OSCatalina 10.15.1, worked before with 25.0.108;
removing version completely and fresh installed 25.0.115 solved the problem.
But on all versions even .115 I was/am not able to play a DVD or Video_TS directory, only the single .vob files.
Even if I will open the .ifo File in the Video_TS with MC 25, it´s not recognized and some weird things happen (Adobe Illustrator or Word opens)
.ifo files are registered with MC25.
Doing a library search for video files, found every video file, except of my ripped Video-DVDs.
Mabe I will post this serious issue in a separate post for this new version.
David593:
Thank you very much for the help. A fresh install sorted this out for me too, so far. If I have any more issues I will comment again but thanks! 👍😀

A while back I did some testing and found that MC for Mac could not play any kind of DVD structure. No VOBs, no IFOs, no ISOs. Have you had this working on MC for Mac before? I am told this works on MC for Windows, but that's different.
Brian.
