MadVr settings saved per movie ?
« on: January 22, 2020, 05:11:24 pm »

Is it possible to save specific madvr settings at a file level ?? I make certain corrections for single movies and was wondering if there would be/is a possibility to store the madvr settings somewhere so that if I watch a certain movie the settings of madvr would be automatically adjusted.

You do this for all movies? And all movies have different MadVR settings? That’s a lot of work.

If MC can execute batch file before playback ... it’s possible to swap MadVR setting bin file with batch command

If you have just specific settings for each type of content (eg for 4K, 3D, anime) ... can use profile settings in MadVR and switch profiles based on some criteria

not for all movies but typically for certain types ie DVD and bluray which both get scaled to 4K.

The batch command is a good idea will try that...thanks

If there is common settings for DVD ... another common setting for Blu-ray

It’s better to setup profiles in MadVR ... then use conditions to trigger each profile ... that’s how I do it anyway
