Independent list style on nested views

Is it possible to have different list styles on nested views?  For instance, I like the list style when looking at all my vids so I can scroll through them quickly, but when I go into one of my "series" folders ("The Avengers" for example), I want to see the four posters in the "folder flow" style (or whatever it's called).  If not on this version, what about a later one?

I'm a programmer, and I've been working with the code for a while.  Is there a way to program it to force a certain style, based on a conditional?
