Hello.

I would like to know if the JRiver Media Player has an option in the program to read any of the following.  I plan to transmit the data so that it can be displayed to an external display such as an LCD, LED, or VFD.

Artist Name
Song Title
Track Time
Elapsed Time of Track
Remaining Time of Track
Format of the Audio File in play - MP3, Wav, FLAC, Ogg, WMA, AC3, etc.

If so, which file allows to retrieve such information and how would I access the variables from the file to extract the information ?

If your using a Rasberry Pi, Beaglebone or other SBC to operate the display you are using, I'd suggest staying with MCWS.  Its a REST based web service.  I've successfully used it as a remote control system and data access/display system
