That seems to have fixed it.  Odd that 113 would work on the same machine even with the corrupted Skins directory.  In any case, thanks for the fix!

I occasionally get a deadlock during play. MC25 is very vanilla with nothing added from outside. The sound is sent to my DAC with no conversion. Play will suddenly stop and the GUI will go entirely blank but while you can click on nothing the big white box can still be moved but the app cannot be closed without a hard reboot.
MX25 is still running and using 100% CPU. It will not quit even running kill -9. Although sometimes it will suddenly open a second thread that also cannot be killed.
