Still using MC 23 for 2 channel audio on RPI, any good reasons to upgrade?

(1/1)

PrinterPrinter:
Sorry,
I was out of the loop for a while, did anything major change on the RPI version for audio since 23?

Thank you,

Mostly DSD, HDCD and equalizer related changes on the audio side. Some multichannel things as well but that's limited with the processing power of the Pi.

I see, any stability improvements? I'm listening to 'natural 44.1 FLACs' so most of those features are not relevant for me. Thank you for all the great work, BTW

Awesome Donkey:
IMO, there's always going to be overall stability updates in newer MC releases versus older ones.

I suppose the only way to find out if it's worth upgrading is to download the trial and see for yourself. That's what I'd suggest.

JimH:
Cloudplay also works in MC25.  Panel improvements.  Theater View.

Any MC25 purchase now also gives you an MC26 license.
