It's a big'in fer sure. How long though before Creative supports other formats other than mp3, wma, wav? That's what keeps me away. Still think the Nueros is the best thing going (more features, same price, smaller HD though)...ogg support soon (ditto for my SlimX...still holding my breath).

The Neuros looks nice but it's just too big.  From the looks of the design they could easily shave off some of that bulk.

The 60GB Zen is a monster but if you've ever used one you'll go right back to your iPod.  They'd do better ignoring HD space and work on designing a new interface.

The forthcoming iRivier hard drive player looks very nice.  iRivier has a good history of supporting multiple audio formats as well.

I still swear by my iPod though.  It's far too expensive but the interface is perfect (and that says a LOT in real world use) and the size/weight is amazing.

LOL, I'm not leaving the ranks of the iPod addicted, this is just hard drive envy.  However I was hoping for more than 30gig with the new editions.  I'll just buy an iTrip (iPod-specific FM transmitter for the less obsessed) and hope that Apple feels the pressure to compete.
