Does Bitstreaming Work on Mac ?

A friend of mine is trying to bitstream Atmos from his Mac running MC and can not get it to work.  I found this thread from MC23 saying that bitstreaming does *not work* on Mac.  Other searches have yielded nothing so far.

I do know DSD bitstreaming works, because I use it via DoP to my DSD DAC on macOS.

Maybe Hendrik or someone else will chime in to clarify.  I have a feeling Hendrik meant "bitstreaming via HDMI".

Is your DSD over DoP via USB or ... ?

Yes, I bitstream DSD/DoP via USB, of course.

Maybe Atmos bitstreaming depends on Windows-only components? I wouldn't be surprised if it does.

I run MC25 on a MAC and have tried DSD streaming to my DAC with success. Have not tried ATMOS content though.
