not remember tabs on win10
« on: January 03, 2020, 03:37:17 pm »

I have 2 tabs on MC26.0.14. Today I cleanly installed windows 10 1909 and MC.
But whenever I open MC, all of the 2 tabs are opened with the start screen.
Is this a MC bug or windows bug? I've never experienced on win7.

os: win10 1909
tested app: mc 26.0.14 x64 and 25.0.115 x64

Set the startup location in Options to open to the last location.

Thanks, solved with your advice by changing it from Playlist to Last location.

One more problem remaining.
Even though I set the MC(26 and 25) max-size window on the taskbar like attached image, it opens with window mode very often. Other apps have no problem.
When I use MC on win7, it perfectly ran as maximized. Is there any related option about this problem? Or is this a bug?

Those Windows settings don't have any effect on MC. I always have MC maximized, and even after closing and reopening MC, it always opens maximized. So it should always remember the window state on close (if it's maximized, windowed, etc.).

Yes, some apps just remember the last state and keep it whenever open. Surely MC remembers the last state on win7.
But it looks like MC on win10 doesn't perfectly remember the last window state. It often opens windowed even though I closed at the state of maximized window.
I even checked over the win10 settings and tested with Settings>System>Multitasking>Snap which looks like giving any influences on app's window state most, but fruitless. :(
Is there any solution about this?

Never had that issue here on Windows 10, MC saves window state just fine. I'd be looking into something like antivirus/antimalware software causing issues, or some app preventing MC from correctly saving settings.
