Tidal control through JRiver
« on: January 08, 2020, 06:29:00 am »

Why isn't it possible to control and play from the Tidal library through the JRiver interface? I can channel the Tidal stream through JRiver obviously, but I can't see the Tidal library on the JRiver user interface, nor (which is what I really would like to do) on the JRiver app on my iPad or iPhone. I also use Audirvana on Mac, and there I can control the Tidal library directly from Audirvana, which is really practical and straight forward.
This would be an upgrade I'd be prepared to pay for (despite the fact that I generally find it rather annoying to have to pay for each update of the program, that is NOT the case with most proprietary software out there).
Thank you.

Do a search of the forums, it's been discussed in the past over the last few years why Tidal integration didn't and isn't likely to happen.
