Adding Second Library HD

I run MC25 on a Mac mini with a 2TB connected HD which is almost full.
Can i add a second HD again USB to Mac mini ?
Or should i upgrade to a larger single HD ?
Would having 2 externals keep mc25 running as good as it does with the one ?
The HD being used now has all my flacs in folders listed alphabetically A-Z with the named artists in A-ABBA,B-Boston.If I add second does it matter how I add any further files ?
Im ashuming MC25 will just organise them anyway I add.

It does not matter. I used to keep things organized on disc but now just have a music folder and a video folder. It doesn't matter where your files are located as long as you add the new disc location to auto-import or run import manually.
