Neil Peart, drummer and lyricist of Rush died today

I started listening to Rush at the young age of 8 in 1980, saw my first of many concerts in 1985, and had the pleasure of taking two of my sons who are fans to see them on their last tour, R40.

Never before has a trio produced such powerful music, uncompromising, never selling out, and always at the top of their game.   Lyrics that were so deep, moving, and timeless.

Time to pour a scotch, dim the lights, and put on 2112.
