One Particular Playlist Loses Its Contents after Restarting Computer

Skeezix:
I created a folder named "_NewPlaylist". I copy about an hour's worth of MP3 filenames to that folder for later listening. Sometimes I listen to that playlist upon creation, and sometimes I turn the computer off and don't start it for a couple of days, and then I listen to the playlist. I have done this for years without problems.

Now when I populate "_New Playlist", then turn the computer off and back on, "_New Playlist" is empty. Any ideas why this happens?
