switching from windows license to mac license
(1/1)
mprieto:
I have just bought an Imac which replaces my old PC where JRiver MC was installed and for which I have a Windows license. My question is quite simple: Is it possible to switch from a Windows license to a Mac license for free as I am not going to use the Windows version of JR MC anymore?. For your information, I bought a version 26 windows license some months ago when it was offered to existing owners of version 25.
Thanks in advance for your help and comments about this issue
JimH:
It's not a free upgrade. Sorry. You could use an older license to upgrade to either a Mac License or Master License.

It does not seem very fair that having already paid for version 26 license that I have never used and will never use, I have to pay for a full mac license if I want to continue using JRiver MC in my new IMac. I am really dissapointed by the way JRiver treats loyal users who have been supporting this program since version 23. I would have expected more understanding from JRiver.
