Automatic list scroll behaviour
« on: October 07, 2019, 01:03:01 am »

Still stuck in version 25.0.24 because of this annoying automatic list scrolling behaviour if a song forwards to the next song, so I try to explain it again: There is a long playlist playing, but then you are bored by the current playing artist and you just scroll down the list to look for some other song, but you don't want to stop listening and you don't know what you are looking for! You just want to be inspired by the list items. What happens then is just, let's say - sorry for that - silly? From your current scrolling position it scrolls back to the next playing item and you start your scrolling again and again? MC has that many options, so please, please, makes this optional, as I understand that this scrolling behaviour could be helpful for others.

I'm not able to reproduce this with the latest version of 25.

When we show Playing Now we scroll to show the active item.

But if you scroll down, then hit next track, it stays scrolled down.

Are you sure it's happening with the latest MC25?  If so, please provide step-by-step instructions.

Thanks.

We'll try this in a coming build of MC26:
Changed: When playing an image slideshow, the playing file is no longer shown each time the image is switched.

Let us know how it works.  Thanks.
