« on: April 28, 2003, 04:40:13 pm »

Ijust ripped a few CDs using the MP3 Encoder set at 256  High Quality.  And the sound is terrible.  There are skips. Some notes get duplicated. Same problem occured with 10 differenet CDs.  Anyone else have this problem?

Direct Sound or wav out? Try changing these settings, also see if moving the slider to more skip resistant helps.

Settings.. in playback options.

Its not a problem with the playback settings.  I copied the files onto my Mac and played them through iTunes.  Result = same sound problems.
