Importing folders
« on: March 01, 2020, 11:37:11 am »

I must admit I've been away from JR for some time, so I'm stuck with some of the most simple issues, I'm afraid.
Some time ago, I imported some files to a folder called "Downloaded music", sorting under JRiver on an iMac. Now I want to move these albums from "Downloaded" to the "ordinary" MC library.
I tried Tools/Import, but obviously no albums are being moved. (They all appear in the MC library, it's just between the subfolders mentioned above, that I want to move them.)
So; should I instead try to do this within Finder? Would that make this task easier, and more understandable to me? Or have I missed something (yes, most likely).

Thanks in advance.

Tools > Library Tools > Rename, Move & Copy.   The wiki has more information.
