Hi

I was running MC24 on Win7 and I once had a folder on my desktop containing some videos. I deleted this folder long time ago. I migrated to Win10 ( clean install from scratch) and when I start MC ( with the old library), the folder ( which is empty) keeps reappearng on my desktop.

I ran all disk repair tools thinking it was the OS but now I realize that the folder keeps reappearing wnen I start JRiver. I browsed in my library and searched with the folder name but no results.
There are no special characters in the folder name...

Check your settings, especially the File Location settings under MC's Options > File Location. If it's set to use a folder (e.g. on the Desktop that doesn't exist) MC will recreate that folder every time you start it.

Probably a good idea to double check your Library & Folders settings as well in the Configure auto-import option.
