Why didn't JRiver do a better job of explaining what was going to happen to people using JRiver MediaCenter 25, Windows 10, and loading EPG using MC2XML. All of a sudden, I wasn't getting channel updates and I didn't know why. We were gone from December 20th thru last week so I figured I'd look into it when we got home. I had already decided to upgrade to MediaCenter 26 so that's the first thing I did. I was really disappointed when the problem was still there. I started searching the forum and finally discovered the problem (Windows no longer supports MC2XML).
After reading all the alternatives to MC2XML I decided to give OTA a try. Needless to say, I"M NOT IMPRESSED! All the other choices are gobbledygook to me so I need some advice since I'm going to have to pay for whatever the solution is. Right now, if there was any other viable solution other than MediaCenter, I'd be downloading it since I'm upset with you for not warning me about the upcoming problem.
