I find that quite often I move some files into the folders watched for audio or video and I have to run the auto-import now option in order to immediately see the files in the library. My problem is that navigating the menus till the run auto-import now option is cumbersome. Is there a way to do this fast? I can't even use multiple keyboard shortcuts (eg Alt-T-I-x) because there is no shortcut in the Media Import window.

Generally speaking, not being able to map hot keys to any of the menu functions is a very-nice-to-have feature that is missing.

A note for people using Ortek remotes: Ctrl-I conflicts with one of the buttons on your remote, the green "Live" button at the top.

To disable this new binding in Media Center so that it does not break your existing remote functionality, you'll need to add this line to your "Custom Resources\Resource.xml" file:

I picked Alt+I.  Does that make any difference?

Ctrl+I shows the playing file, and has existed a long time.

Certain hotkeys don't work in the context of theater view (which is when someone is using a remote) so there may well be hotkeys that exist that could cause conflicts but don't in practice because the remote is being used in theater view.
