I don't know when this functionality changed but I cannot seem to "Play All" while in Theater View (specifically when using search).

Search for Michael Jackson returns many albums:


I do see the option to "play all" in the top roller (if I wanted to start playback from the very first result). But I prefer to scroll down to find the song that I want to play and continue playing the search results from that track.

In the past I would be able to select any file and then choose "Play All" and MC would start playing back the files in the order that they appeared in the search results.

But now my only option is to play a single file:


With no option to play all in more play options:


The result is that the same file is played on repeat.

I tried Play (from here) and it had the same effect as just choosing "play."

I swear that this isn't how this used to work, I was able to "play all" from the search results. Any ideas?

Spotty access to Play All in theater view goes back years.

The only way to get play all is when you can select it on screen.

This wouldn't be an issue if there were a remote command, or an MCC command, or even a keyboard hotkey for it.  I asked for that last year but no dice. 

This would be so simple to fix...

I'd actually prefer an MCC/remote command/hotkey to modifying the GUI.  Maybe if we all ask together they will take pity on us.

I get the Play All choice if I search for an artist, or I pick the artist from a view so it's just showing that artist page.

Can you provide the exact step-by-step to reproduce?

Top Roller>Search>Type a few letters (Mich for Michael Jackson)>select Michael Jackson (Artist)>that leads to the first image in the OP. I then scroll down a few songs and select one to play>that leads to the second image in the OP

We'll have this in the next build:
Changed: The "More Play Options" Theater View roller item will now contain "Play All" when selecting a single file.

Can there be an MCC for it so we can assign a keyboard shortcut or access it with the remote?  Remote access to features is key in theater view.  It saves a lot of clickks.
