Playlist entries with MP4 streams working?
(1/1)
FalkiD:
I'm running MC24 on Ubuntu 18.04. When Linux MC first appeared I was unable to import my 'Radio Stations' playlist from the Windows MC I'd been using for years, but figured out how to recreate it. Today I tried to import an m3u playlist that requires an MP4 codec and it didn't work. Has this been fixed in MC26 for Linux? The playlist file works fine on my Windows MC24 machine, and the URL plays fine on my MC24 Ubuntu machine in Firefox or VLC.
FYI, here are the contents of my m3u file:
#EXTM3U
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:BANDWIDTH=49000,CODECS="mp4a.40.5"

Might be time for me to upgrade my master license...

It's an interesting stream, an http HLS stream which plays in LAV on Windows MC but those aren't implemented on Mac and Linux yet. We are checking into doing so.

Got it, the fix will be in the next build. Thanks for the link.
