So I need to reinstall. I have been emailed licence key but when I try older versions on Wiki page none of them download. Also I forgot what version I had. How do I progress to finding the right version and downloading?
Any ideas, Thanks.

The email or  file name of the license file indicates what version it is for.

You can download that version from that version section here on the forums. Each major version has a release thread.

Thanks for the file. I have now established I had JRiver 20 by a previous message I sent to you a few years ago..
The file doesnt open. When I click on it it just flashes and asks what app I want to open it with and defaults to windows explorer icon.
I assume I need to download something first to get the software to download but what exactly?
You have sent me the file but no explanation, just a link to the help page which I have analalised a few times now. Sort of going round in circles.
Any ideas how I can get JRiver 20 back?

Do what I said in my previous post.

If your license is MC20, Download MC from here:

Install it. Do this before you do anything else.

Then double click the license file and it will install, if it has not expired.

If it has expired, you will have to do a license restore.

Google "jriver restore license" to learn how to do a license restore.
