Connecting to Library
« on: May 14, 2020, 09:40:01 am »

I have just started using my old laptop which has V25 installed, I have now installed V 26 with no problems .

I want now to connect to my server so I can see that library and use the laptop as a remote/playback device

The laptop seems to have the same generated access code as the server, even though  I have switched off the server in Options>Media Server> etc ie there is NO server

When I use Library Manger to connect an external Library I get an error saying I can't use my own access key ?

It was working fine on V25 , I just uninstalled 25 , installed 26 Rebooted

Do I need to generate a new access  key on the server (even can I ?)

Mike

Any Ideas , is there a way

Got it eventually!,

Reset the access code on the laptop , turned off media network, still wouldn’t accept the access code

Eventually used the IP address and it connected
