Requesting audiophile plugin recommendations
« on: May 10, 2020, 06:36:07 pm »

Hi everyone

I've had success with installing Toned, and would like to explore other plugins that enhance the listening experience.

What are you recommendations, please?

Has Terry West's ReLife been updated for Windows 10, or is there a similar effect plugin elsewhere?

Thanks.

I use Terry West's ReLife in Win10 all the time. Its a 32bit plugin, so you would need to install and run the 32bit version of MC26, 25, or 24 (those are the only ones I've used).

I havent heard of Toned, I'll check that out.

If you listen on speakers you might consider using REW to measure your room, generate filters, then export them as a convolution file. I have found that room correction improves things considerably.
