Artist Field Semi-colon-separated list does not allow duplication

Noticed something strange just now. I wanted to add the following in the [Artist] field of a few tracks:
Anne-Sophie Mutter;Berliner Philharmoniker;Anne-Sophie Mutter
indicating that Anne-Sophie Mutter was the main Artist playing with the Berliner Philharmoniker and was also directing
However, the second instance of Anne-Sophie Mutter after Berliner Philharmoniker was not accepted and just omitted once I pressed <Enter>, invariably resulting in
Anne-Sophie Mutter;Berliner Philharmoniker
Is that an intended effect?

You probably can only have a value in a list one time.  Put something in parenthesis after it maybe?

HaWi:
If I put anything but a semicolon before the second instance it works fine. No big problem
