Burning a cd today, and the display was all wrong....  Worked yeterday....

During the burn the burn progress display was all messed up.

There were 15 songs to burn.  When it got to the 10th song, every time the track was fully burned, the display would always say it was writing out the same track title.

And the File Progress bar was not smooth, it would stop, then jump 5-6 units ,and then stop again and then jump again.  This was not my pc being busy.

The cd was burned correctly, but the display was not right.

Still found more problems.  I burned a cd today and minimized the cd burning progress box.  Down in my task bar in v8 it would show me the % burned.  v9 got up to 27% and stopped incrementing, but the burn continued and finished normally.

But I STILL HAVE "CD BURNING PROGRAM" as a selectable program in my task bar, which when clicked brings up Media Center.  I also have "MEDIA CENTER" in the task bar.

I'll have to reboot to get rid of this, or maybe stop the program and restart it.

This problem is not continual, I've unistalled v9 and reverted back to v8 until the cd burning problems are corrected.

This last time the burning code locked up xp and I had to reboot badly.

last time I burned a CD I had No Problems At All.

Maybe it is the burner model\make

We never know where the problem is....

I've got a LiteOn 32x burner, which works great in v8.

Is v9 still using CDRWin C++ libraries?  I'd thought it didn't, so  even though the screens look very similar, if the burning routines are all different, who knows.....

My Old Computer has a LiteOn 40x and it worked just fine.

I have two burners on this one a DVD burner and a 48x CD-r\w burner (Un-tested with MC9)

Just tested it worked perfictly on my new system at 48x
