Feature Requests
Skogkatt:
Adding the possibility to rename channels instead of standard 7.1 channel abbreviations.
Using JRiver as electronic crossover with 8 channels (7.1 output), it would be easier if the
standard channel names (left, right, center, sub, SL, SR, RL, RR) could be renamed by the
user (i.e.: LowL, MidL, HighL, etc.).
This would make easier and less confusing to make the filter configuration so that each
channel name corresponds to each way of the filter.
Doof:
I've long wished for a "Tasks View" in MC that would show a list either in the action window or the tree of the queued tasks that MC is working on. Basically when MC's status bar is indicating that it's saving changes to my library with a number of files remaining, I'd like to be able to see a list of which files those are and what action MC is carrying out on them (copy/move, rename, save tags, etc). This would be super helpful for times when MC seems to be stuck saving changes. I could go see what file it's stuck on and deal with it if possible. Ideally this task viewer would allow me to cancel 1, some, or all of the queued tasks.
High-End:
Often I hear different classic CD's one after the other.
My config said "continual playing" as standard. But I would like to have a break after each classic disc.
I would like to see a option to have a 10sec. break between two disks

Here are a few examples, pulled randomly from google:

I requested this last year as did others (and it has been requested for several years before), but please can we have proper graphical representation of the filters/x-overs we have input in DSP. I know I can use the Analyzer with pink noise, but that is really only a crude respresentation of the filters.
Having good graphs would enhance safety - it's all too easy to uncheck a tweeter x-over and not notice when you have no visual representation for what you have just done. I have several active speaker systems - all with x-overs/eq done in JRiver and it works well - a visual representation of the x-overs/eq would be a major improvement here. After many years of using JRiver and its DSP function I no longer consider this to be a "nice to have" - it really should be a "must have."
Thank you.
