JimH:
jmone made an app that might help.  Search for Chapterfy.

audioriver:
In the Startup Interface options (or somewhere else, like near the Search Bar), please add an option to "Remember previous search results". So for example, if I've searched for a specific album (to have it appear in my Library View), MC would start with that album already in my View, and the Search Bar pre-filled with my previous search.

This would more or less replicate the UI exactly as it was before quitting MC. Currently, the Search Bar contents (and obviously, the search results) are being cleared after a MC restart.

Why must the playlist order be alphabetically?  For example, if I have two playlists:

Best Songs
Max Party

Why can't I order them,

Max Party
Best Songs?

Maybe I can and I don't know how, but it seems like I should be able to drag and drop them in whatever order I choose or utilize some other way to order my playlist anyway I like.

Thanks!!

Rename them.
1 - Max Party
2 - Best Songs

My number one request for MC27 would be for a total rethink on how views are managed. The interface for managing views for panel being my biggest gripe.
If I make a change to a Theater View view, I then have to manually make the same change in the media server views area and also potentially in standard view too. Also, having view configuration buried in options feels inconvenient.

My suggestions. These ideas conflict with each other:

* throw all view config into standard view, views. Add tick boxes for "show in theater view", "show in panel"
* have sections in the tree for theater view and panel. Keep the "add from standard view" tool, and add an action to link the view to its standard view original so that changes made in standard view flow through to its copies.
My other request would be some work on panel. It is a very static website. I would:

Make a react-material-design driven site, where the cards would be akin to the "tiles" of standard view; containing customizable info under each thumbnail. This extra info could be hideable with a global toggle too.

The list would have a resize slider that reflows the list as you resize.

The cards would also be actionable too. So I'd be able to add a file to a playlist or rate it from the list.
