Let us manage and stream our library of files stored in your servers. You could offer different plans depending on storage. Turn JRiver MediaCenter to JRiver MediaCloud.

We've got the basic structure of that built.  It's what Cloudplay uses now.  You can upload playlists to our server at Amazon S3, then play them anywhere.

But we need a server running MC to access to the playlists, don't we?

audioC:
How about incorporating an Audio Device default priority list?
Currently I always have to manually go into the Playback Options menu to select Audio Device option for the DAC that I want to use.

Similar to a PC, incorporating a Priority list would automatically switch to the DAC you have connected/turned on, and in the order you select.
For instance: I have one DAC for Phones, and a separate DAC for my large amplified speakers.
If there was a default list would set it up like :
  1. Headphone DAC [ASIO]
  2. Rackmount DAC [ASIO] to Large speakers
  3. Computer output [Direct Sound]
If no external DACs are connected, default to "Direct Sound" (computer jack output).

You can use zones for this and ctrl-t to toggle among them.  Please see the wiki.

You need MC to play them.  You don't have to run a server.
