Dead laptop and can't find original registration code

Can anyone help with a reinstall/upgrade.  I have had to switch from my failed laptop to a rebuilt desktop so I don't know which version of JRiver I was running before nor can I retrieve my original registration code.  So when I use the online bot, I am caught in a loop.  Once I get it restored, I am itching to upgrade since I don't think I have ever upgraded over the years.
