A long-standing bug in JRemote involves acting on the results of a global search. When viewing the "flat" results of a global search, a tap-and-hold op on any item in the results list is supposed to act on "selection", per the label in the search results. Instead the op acts on the entire search list.
1. Do a global search for something that will return multiple entries.
2. Switch from "grouped" view to "flat" view.
3. Tap and hold on one of the items. Select "play now".
4. Here is the bug: look at the "now playing" list. All of the search results got added to the list, not just the one you selected.
The same thing happens no matter what op you select after the tap-and-hold. Could be "add to now playing" or "play next"...the whole list of search results gets added to "now playing".
Note that single-tap ops on items in global search results, as configured via "default tap mode" - e.g. play now, play next - behave correctly. They only add the tapped item to the now playing list. It's only the tap-and-hold ops that exhibit the bug.
When viewing "grouped" results rather than "flat", the bug is flakier. Sometimes one item is acted on, sometimes all, sometimes more than one and less than all.
JRemote 3.33. Bug occurs on both iPhone 7 and iPad 6th Gen iPad, both running iOS/iPadOS 13.6.
