First CD Rip – What Went Wrong?

First time ripping a CD into MC, the track ripping progress proceeded to completion, as expected. But, after ripping, neither the album nor the artist appeared in the tree on the left. Doing a search revealed the album, but it was with a generic logo with a ‘ Play Title“ (I think) legend underneath it. I should have checked in iTunes at this point, but deleted the album and re-imported it using iTunes. After iTunes import, the album is in MC, with full metadata and track listing. So what did I do wrong?

There was also a problem paying back the album, but I’ll start a separate thread for that…
