TIVO with MadVR

I just downloaded the trial version of the media center and I dont' have much time to figure things out to see if it will work for me and do what I need. I have a cable TIVO box but media center doesn't seem to find it. And none of the files downloaded to the PC via the TIVO desktop client can be viewed by the Media Center. Is playing TIVO files not possible? They play fine with the TIVO app.  Also I would like to watch TV thru media center with the TIVO box acting as the tuner. Is this also not possible?
