Album Artist view images and Standard View: Missing Images

In the Standard View, I use an Album Artist view which gives albums organised by Album Artist. I have +/- 500 and all have the relevant artistic photo (located in a server based folder called Artists). All 100% are correct and pop-up as they should. The problem is when I switch to Theater View. There I use the same views. However, when displaying the Album Artist view, artist photos are missing for around 10% of all. The photo is missing and not the artist with name is shown (defaulting to an album cover from that artist and not the photo. What is wrong?
