If it's not local, what is the format of the drive?

The drive is on a Thunderbolt2 Mounted RAID. Mac OS Extended (Journaled). GUID Partition.

When you do that there is a checkbox that enables the copying of the settings as well. IIRC this is on by default. If that box is checked and you had auto-updates turned off on MC26 they should be turned off on MC27.

Did all that, been to this circus so many times before but it did not transfer all settings correctly.

One thing that isn't new but really needs a little attention is the window edge grab width is literally one pixel wide.  Can we make it maybe 2 or 3?  When I want to resize the window it's an effort of concentration and focus for 5 seconds trying to zero in on that one pixel to get the grab pointer.  For normal Mac apps the grab pointer begins a good 10 pixels outside the actual window edge and extends a few inside it giving plenty of room to grab it.  With MC it's literally one pixel right on the edge.

Interesting, MC should notice that the files have changed and re-import (if they are in an auto-import folder).
This won't work immediately on networked file systems or fat file systems but should be working in your case.

We'll check into that when the screen non-flipping builds are in working order. I expect that should fix some issues like this.
