Using the Tidal app with JRiver Media Center's WDM driver on Windows is the only workaround for piping Tidal through JRiver Media Center.

Otherwise there's no Tidal integration in JRiver Media Center and JRiver has no plans on integrating it. Do a search of the forums for more information why, it's been explained many times over the years.

I believe you need to run and control Tidal from the server to use the WDM driver. A more versatile way to play from a Tidal source through a JRiver end point is through BubbleUPnP. You can use your phone or tablet to control playback. Bubble can also see content on your JRiver server, so you can create a playlist with material from both Tidal and JRiver if you want to.
