MC27 Hang on Startup

Hello,

I recently downloaded MC27 for Windows 32 bit from official site and ran licence file but when i try to open it it shows a black screen, loading cursor then goes not responding. I waited for several minutes but still not responding.

I'm not using any antivirus software, only windows firewall and i added "media center extenders" as an exception and disabled rules of it. I checked "Weird and wonderful (freak problems and their solutions) page" and did not see any software there installed on my computer.

I'm using Windows 7.

From windows crash report:
Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name:   AppHangB1
  Application Name:   Media Center 27.exe
  Application Version:   27.0.20.0

I'll be happy if you can help me on this.

Is your OS 32-bit?  If not, try the 64-bit version of MC.

My OS is 64-bit. I already tried that (tried again now). Tried both but same issue.

Then something on your machine is probably causing the problem.  Check to see what's running.  Security software is a common cause.
