I've always wondered the reason for the insistent display of the time in the upper right corner of the screen in the various theater views. 

Why so insistent?

I am now beginning to understand the reason.

Media Center is a pipeline, if you will, into the media you enjoy viewing and listening to.

That time display is a subtle reminder, pulling you back to reality.

It is a "yo, dude, it's 3am!!! You need to get up for work tomorrow."

Media Center so amazing.  How does it ever think of all these things?
