irock file transfer problem
« on: April 11, 2003, 12:54:55 pm »

I'm trying to copy some mp3's to my irock 500 series. As soon as the copying process begins, I get an Application Error "The exception Integer division by zero. (0xc0000094) occurred in the application at location 0x46cd53b" and it freezes.  Any ideas on fixes? I'm using MJ9.0147.

Thanx!

It is most likely a driver issue. Where did you get the drivers you are using for the iRock?

The drivers came from the original irock CD. This was working fine previously with MJ8 and installed drivers. Only new component is the upgrade to MJ9.

As a follow up: when it freezes - it moves only the first song in the list to the irock player.

mdornich,

Sorry for the delay in the response. I was out yesterday. I just retested this on XP with MC 9 and the drivers that came with my iRock 500 and everything worked well.

Can you transfer songs successfully with Rio Audio Manager (on the CD enclosed with iRock)?

I can transfer using Audio Manager.

Sorry for not providing the OS earlier - i'm running 2000 Professional.

I followed the advice on another thread and re-installed driver from MJ to ensure right driver was in use - still no luck...

Also pulling each updated beta to ensure I'm in synch with your testing...

Thanks!

What is the date modified on the following files for you on your system (most likely these files are in System32)?

mdmuser.dll
riousb.sys
mdmimdm.dll
