Device Manager shows MC25 but MC27 is installed

Is this a naming issue, a miss configuration or a bug?

I have MC 27 installed but Device Manager shows MC 25 under Sound Devices?

The WDM driver hasn't changed since MC25, hence why it's named that. It's intended, though you can probably rename it somewhere if desired.

The first part of the name is actually user-specified, which is why Windows doesn't like to update it when the driver changes and it remains what it was when it was initially installed. You can edit it if you want to. Future clean installations will not include a version number there.
