No Sound

Dwtire:
I’m running this version on a Mac Mini M1 and can not get sound. Core audio it set for Anthem MRX receiver, I get sound for everything else, Plex, ITunes and Safari. The only program where sound doesn’t work is JRiver, no DSP added although I’ve tried. I replaced my old 2014 Mac mini with this one, I never had an issue with that setup.

I get this message when I try to play anything, this was for an MP3 320 bit rate but flat files get the same result, see pictures. Connection is via HDMI through Anthem MRX 710.

In the audio settings in MC, uncheck Integer and Exclusive modes.
If it still doesn't work, post a log. Thanks.

I unchecked both with the same result and got the same pop up message.

Go to the Help menu while MC is running.
Turn on logging.
Generate the error.
Go back to the logging menu.
Hit "Report Problem" and you'll get a logfile zipped on your desktop.
Attach that to a message here.
Thanks.

Is there a solution to this as I seem to have the same issue.  I am a longterm user of JRiver with windows but just acquired a Mac mini and am trying out the Mac version of media centre.  My Mac mini is connected by HDMI to a LG screen with built-in speakers.  The media centre will play audio to the Mac mini internal speaker but if directed to the LG monitor speakers it fails with the error message as above.  Strangely, if I just browse to the audio files on the hard drive and click on them, they play fine (but not via driver).
