Second time for a tuner to be stuck streaming data to my Server even though the recordings have all stopped. I'm having a hard time believing that the stop request was just lost in the network, because the DURATION of one of the recordings is AFU. I am hoping Yaobing can take a look at my logs (emailed link). Note that this issue is only happening on my new Silicon Dust OTA 4K tuner, never the cable card tuners.

There were three recordings last night on NBC:
8pm-9pm "Blacklist" - recorded show seems to be ok
9pm-11pm "Dateline" NBC - recorded show AFU
11:34pm-12:36am "Tonight Show" - recorded show seems to be ok

This time "Dateline NBC" ended up with a DURATION value of 9 hours 19 minutes, and it was marked as "24% watched" but I never did. The timeline also says 9hr 19min when playing it back in any player, not just MC.

Meanwhile, file size is correct, disk write times are correct, MC record start/stop times are correct, comskip processed and marked commercials. But there's a huge empty area (no markers) in the middle and fast forward/rewind/jump is really funky.

Funny, I had just updated MC to the latest version yesterday morning and rebooted all my Tuners. Here's the Tuner's Log entries, Tuner 2 is the one that's stuck, and you can see there is no STOP command:

Unfortunately this is still a mystery.  Some things don't add up.

I do see in the log the "Dateline" recording was stopped, at around 11 pm.  Here are the log lines:

DirectShow graph was stopped and torn down.  About less than 2 seconds later, the main TV manager for this particular instance was cleaned up and deleted:

Here you see that it's worker thread was closed after running for 10924926 ms (that is about 3 hours, i.e. the duration of recording both "The Blacklist" and "Dateline".

So it is completely baffling that you got a super long recording.

"The Tonight Show" that was started about 34 minutes later was recorded on a different tuner.

By the way, I do notice that some shows got recorded twice (but not "Dateline"!).   For example, "The Blacklist" was recorded twice, once on the same tuner as the "Dateline" the other time on the OpenCABLE tuner.  There are two recording rules for this show.

Unfortunately, I am getting less and less trusting of recordings done on this OTA tuner, so I am now doing backup recordings on the cable card tuner for important shows such as "The Blacklist".

When playing back the "Dateline NBC" show, it just appeared to have a timeline of 9hrs19min, and trying to use jump fwd/back or stopping/resuming would just reset it back to the same spot in the show. MC's recording action was not actually 9hrs19min - MC start/stop times, and Windows file write (create/modify/size) all point to a 2hour show. But that tuner was stuck streaming to the Server long after MC stopped writing to disk, and it appears MC was aware that tuner was "in use", not selecting it for anymore duties until I physically rebooted it.

I really appreciate any time you spent on this, things like torn down, cleaned up, worker thread was closed, are beyond my knowledge... Is there an actual log entry that shows MC sent a "stop streaming command" to Tuner 2 after the "Dateline NBC" recording was finished? Thanks
