27.0.10 (9/8/2020)

1. NEW: Initial generally available MC27 linux build.
2. Fixed: When XMLTV file contain IDs that are shared by different channels, some of the channels may not be properly matched to their XMLTV IDs.
3. Changed: Middle click will close the active tab (before it did nothing).
4. Fixed: Switching to high resolution in the Analyzer could crash.
5. Fixed: VST2 effects would not load properly.
6. Fixed: Right-click on an empty car radio button would crash.

32. NEW: Added a new search to options to allow setting a grouping of files to automatically apply a bookmark (so if "Use Bookmarking" is set to default, it turns on for files that match the search).

35. Fixed: Image lookup from Google (for artist images, etc.) was not working.

38. NEW: RadioJRiver can be played to a DLNA devices that required transcoding.
39. NEW: Cloudplay API updates to allow retrieval of more of the properties of the tracks being played.
40. Fixed: In some dialogs, we were not accepting keyboard shortcuts (principally escape and enter) on the linux platform builds.

I'm still seeing disabled volume controls when watching TV with this build.  Specifically, the volume is grey/x'ed out and doesn't respond to clicks, but volume works normally for all other audio and video content. It's kind of jarring because the TV output is at maximum volume. 

This seems to happen regardless of the selected audio output device; I get the same results with the various hardware direct outputs or using, for example, the pulse audio output.  It also doesn't seem to matter which volume setting I use (I normally use internal volume).

I'm still seeing disabled volume controls when watching TV with this build.  Specifically, the volume is grey/x'ed out and doesn't respond to clicks, but volume works normally for all other audio and video content. It's kind of jarring because the TV output is at maximum volume.

Confirmed.  I will look into it.  In the meantime other volume modes (Application Volume, System Volume) might work.

The streaming tab is working normally for me on Debian Buster with 27.0.10 FWIW.  Maybe a problem with the download of the integrated browser?

That was tested on all platforms.
What are you using?
It's likely to be as mwillems says, missing the browser download.

Do you have "on screen instructions" enabled?  I'm on an unsupported operating system, and theater mode was giving me a white, unresponsive screen, until i toggled "instructions..."  off.  I know it makes no sense, but I haven't seen a white screen since.

Just set the on screen instruction off, but still got the white blank screen.
Tried disabling anti aliasing, no difference.

This likely means there is an issue with your OpenGL support on your video setup/OS (what are they BTW?)
Turn on logging just before entering theater view.
Enter theater view and exit it (F10 or F11 IIRC).
Then check the log or post it here.

It's an old Acer laptop (Aspire 4736Z) with Intel GPU (running Linux Mint 20, kernel 5.4.0-47-generic #51-Ubuntu SMP).
