MC playback to Axloie Goin G2
(1/1)
The Muffin Man:
I have Axloie Goin G2 wireless earphones connected to my Macbook pro. They are paired to provide input and output.
MC will not play through them, although it will play through external speakers.
The error is:
"Playback could no be started on the output 'Core Audio'
using the format '44.1 kHz 2ch'
This output format may not be supported by your hardware.
You can use DSP Studio to change the output to a compatible format.
Also make sure that your system has a valid sound playback device and is properly
configured in the playback options."
Other sounds play through the headphones.
I am going to try the Silicon beta since this is an M1 laptop.
The Muffin Man:
No difference with the Silicon build
Awesome Donkey:
Are they Bluetooth? If so you might need to use DSP Studio > Output Format to resample all sample rates to 48,000 Hz. In fact you might try doing that regardless and see if that fixes it, if so, the wireless earphones likely only accepts 48 kHz. Which also means with system sounds and everything outside of MC are being resampled in the background by macOS' system mixer so they appear to always work.
The Muffin Man:
Way cool! (dare I say Awesome?)
I've been working from home since Mar 17th. Now I'm finally getting my home office tweaked ;)
First a (cheap) Linux laptop to remote into the office to "sling code".
Add an old Thinkpad (with Win10) for a backup plan.
Now a Macbook. (Silicon)
With the universal license, my Thinkpad is the Media Server for all my platforms.
The Mackbook dedicated to writing code.
The Linux laptop, because you still have to have fun ;)
Thanks again!
