License Upgrade Problem MC25 Master - MC27 Master

I purchased MC-25 Master on 1/28/19. Today I decided to update my license to MC-27 Master.
I went to your purchase page, entered the registration code, and purchased the upgrade.
And here's where it goes pear shaped: The system gave me a new registration code.
When I try to do the upgrade I get the message "The License is for a different product".

Not sure what to do.
Is there  a way to fix this through a secure communication so I can provide the original license code?
Any help is appreciated........
