How to Stop Auto Rip From Launching [solved]?
« on: February 20, 2021, 10:10:00 am »

I can't seem to stop auto rip from launching whenever I insert a CD to computer.  JRiver autostarts to the Rip Disc screen.
I've tried every setting I can find that seems like it should control this.
I removed ripping from features - and JRiver still starts to the ripping screen.

Can someone please tell me the correct setting(s) to stop JRiver from launching each time I insert a CD to my computer?
I've turned off every option I can find that seems like it would autostart JRiver.
If I remove ripping from feature settings, it still starts up to rip the CD.

File associations in MC.  Also check Windows.

Use Tools >> Options >> CD, DVD & BD and check that under Auto Rip CD Database Lookup Options that Enable auto-rip mode is not enabled.

Thanks everyone.

This is a windows gotcha for me ...

On my Windows 10 system, the "autoplay" settings found in Start / Settings / ... Autoplay looked to be doing nothing.

But, these settings were apparently out of sync with control panel's autoplay settings.

That UI showed the JRiver autorip / autoplay association.
