Problems with WAV files in the library

Hello I'm new to the forum I can't get the files in WAV into the library I have to convert files to FLAC externally to JRiver or can you do with JRiver if you like? Thank you for your answers and your patience

Tools>Options>File Types

Is WAV Audio Yes and Automatic?

File type association is not required.
On the Import dialog, you can select which types to import. Under "Import these file types", expand Audio and make sure WAV is checked there.

JRiver can converted the WAV files to FLAC format, under menu Tools, Advanced Tools, Convert Format. I do this routinely.
